Creative Jumpstart, Jan 26: Gwen Lafleur: Home Gratitude Journal
Inspired by today’s video, I decided just to do a journal page rather than make a journal. I have a lot of handmade journals waiting to be filled! I don’t usually work in dark colors, so this was way out of my comfort zone. I’m happy with this page and am glad to find another use for my black and grey gesso, but dark is not my happy place!

This looks great Sue! I love that you went with a journal page instead of making a journal and pushed yourself out of your comfort zone with the dark colors... I'm loving it! Of course, if dark isn't your thing, you can also start with white or light colors and go brighter. I have a tendency to just go dark automatically, but the techniques should all work with whatever color palette you prefer :) Thanks so much for sharing your project!
it's a great page and I love the text pulling it all together in this january jumstart project
