Zentangle Challenge #113 - String Theory - Hip to be Square
This week's challenge from Laura at www.iamthedivaczt.blogspot.ca is to use squares within squares as the string. Last year I started a series of postcards on which I post a small photo printed from my pogo printer, then decorated with Zentangles. I only got three done last year, but this challenge reminded me of them so here is my entry for this challenge. I took a photo last summer of my rock garden which is overseen by my wood carving "Merlin", and his statuary companions, a Mexican gecko, and fisherman frog. That's what's in the center of this postcard. Chordin is one of my favorite tangles, though it's much darker here than I usually do it. This is the first time I've used Z-trik - LOVE the way this tangle looks! I'm happy with this postcard!

Wow! What a gorgeous post card. I bet you can make more than one from this photo. I'd love to get one. It's gorgeous. Your photographic skills are as awesome as your tangling skills.
Love your shading on Rick's Paradox! Well done!
Wow, beautiful picture frame!
I like this tile a lot, it reminded me of some patterns I saw in Australia. I also like the tangle Chordin, I just used it on the side of a pair of trainer I tangled.
Great idea, fabulous border!
How fun, your colors and tangle choices totally match your image.
Beautiful and a very clever idea. Thank you for sharing!
Wow Sue what a great postcoard. Very creative idea to frame a photo into a postcard. The tangles and colors are in great balance with the colors of the photo.
Everything about this is perfect . . . the tangles you selected, the colors, and the photo. What an awesome postcard.
Absolute great! the photo, the Zentangle and the combination!
A very beautiful postcard! Great colors too.
Great postcard. I'm unfamiliar with some of the tangles, and I really like them, so I'm going hunting! Beautiful photo, and frame.
Awesome idea!
