Zendala Dare #116

I did two Zendala's for this week's Dare from Erin at www.thebrightowl.blogspot.com. Though it doesn't show, the first one was done on a regular Zendala tile, and the second on an 8.5 inch circle. I like the second better because it gave me the opportunity to showcase some tangles that work well in circular spaces. I wanted something to balance the detail of the central orbs and I think Zplode works well. I'm happy with both of these!

They are both so inspiring. I love the contrasts of the first one, the soft curves and the dynamic lines and edges. that makes it really fascinating! the second one is so creative and harmonic! Such a great choice of pattern!

I do like them both, because they are lovely. Always so much fun (and surprising) how different they become even drawn by the same person.

Gosh they are both great but I especially like the way you took the lines right to the edge on the first one.

Both are beautiful, Sue! The first one has gorgeous line work, but still comes out very bold. I love how you highlighted the "circle" tangles in the second and completed with Xplode!

So beautiful, both of them. I am in awe of your straight lines! I love how you filled up the outer spaces also.
