Zendala Dare #64 HEAT

I really like this weeks template from Erin at www.thebrightowl.blogspot.ca, and the added request that we use tangles starting with the letters in the words "heat" or "hot". I chose the pumpkin paper because it was such a warm color, and decided to go with the word "heat", so I used Hekzee, a variation of Efilys, Afterglow, Tracery, and Tearce. It turned out ok, but I don't love it - it doesn't "flow", so if I get a chance this week, I'll do another.

Very lovely zendala! I like the tangles you chose. Also it gets a very well-balanced and soft character by using the warm-colored paper. Great job!

Very pretty Zendala! Your linework on the Hekzee is amazing, and I like the way your Afterglow appears to go down in the center to the star.

This is indeed a brilliant zendala, great tangles and such depth to the middle.

Nice design and a great job on the linework!
Yours reminds me of a mandala that would be used for meditiation or focused attention.

You are too hard on yourself. I think the center makes the whole thing flow nicely.
