Zentangle Challenge #155 - "A Little White Space"

This week's challenge from Laura at www.iamthedivaczt.blogspot.ca is to do a tile or ZIA and leave white space. When I do a ZIA I often leave white… but when I do a tile, for some reason, I always want to fill it up. There are so many wonderful Tangles to work with - it seems to be getting more and more difficult for me to limit the number of tangles and I think my tiles are starting to feel too cluttered. This is a wonderful challenge that will help me refocus. This one is done in my journal so maybe about 6" x 10". Not what I intended, but that's the way it goes. If I have time over the next couple of days, I'll try doing a tile and see if I can leave a space alone! Great challenge, as always!

  2. Sue it is awesome, when I opened your post the first thought was wow looks like a space shutle between plannets, and your background is great. A beautiful page in your journal.

  3. Sue, this is an amazing tile - really unequivocal and direct. Great tangles that go perfectly together. I think you must be feeling very dynamic today! Axxx

  4. I can't quite put my finger on the feeling that this ZIA invokes... Maybe the closest I can get is something like "unity"?
    No...
    "Cooperation"?
    Not quite...
    "Compromise"?
That's not it, either, but it feels like an important relationship is involved.
Or maybe I'm crazy and this is just a very, very slick ZIA...
Either way, it's still very slick.

  6. Great ZIA. I like the background. Your white space with Schway/Arroz reminds me of a banjo.

  9. Very pretty! My 1st thought was a rocket gliding across the moon.

  10. Love it! It makes me think of a space rocket flying in front of a set of moons. Terrific!
