This my entry for this week's Zendala Dare from Erin at www.thebrightowl.blogspot.ca. Another great template and I was able to try the new tangle Ciceron - not all together successfully, but definitely a learning experience. Last week several people mentioned that there had been a tutorial or "how to" on how to do balls or orbs and really make them appear 3D. I think it was supposed to have been something from Margaret Bremner... but search as I might, I can't find it. I would really appreciate it if someone could send me a link or prompt me how to find it.... Thanks for viewing, and your comments are always appreciated!
Beautiful Sue, great contrast in it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful zendala. I like the way you did the centre part of the zendala. It looks so soft, with great tangles. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely detail. Great creativity.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your tangles work so well together--your Ciceron looks great in the center.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Sue and your shading works well, not least because it is supported by a clever choice of patterns.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely! I think the shading on this is just wonderful. This may be the shading tutorial you're thinking of: http://tanglepatterns.com/2012/10/tanglepatterns-shading-mini-clinic-part-2.html There is a link to part 1 from the website.
ReplyDeleteReally nice with great contrasts and well placed shading!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the volume, beautiful zendala! Love how you used the black color!
